Troy University Mission Statement

Troy University is a public institution comprised of a network of campuses throughout Alabama and worldwide. International in scope, Troy University provides a variety of educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels for a diverse student body in traditional, nontraditional, and emerging electronic formats. Academic programs are supported by a variety of student services which promote the welfare of the individual student. Troy University's dedicated faculty and staff promote discovery and exploration of knowledge and its application to life-long success through effective teaching, service, creative partnerships, scholarship and research.

Accreditation Statement

Troy University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, bachelor's,master's, and education specialist degrees. Contact the Commission on Colleges and Schools at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions regarding the accreditation status of the institution or if there is evidence that appears to support Troy University's significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard.

Additional Accreditation:

The Troy University Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) is professionally accredited by The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ASCBSP).

Troy University's Sorrell College of Business is a candidate for professional accreditation by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) also known as the International Association for Management Education.

Troy University Western Region (TroyWR), a branch of Troy University, is included in the accreditation status of Troy State University, Troy, Alabama. Troy WR offers the Bachelor's and Master's Degrees.
